Save the Blow Dry!

I recently received the, *'Save the Blow Dry' which is the moisture eliminating QUEEN of shower caps. It is a brand new product just recently released and this is what the company have to say about it:

"Our Shower Cap Story.......

Did you know that, on average, we girls spend over two hours a week blow drying and styling our locks? And so it's utterly hair-raising when we emerge from our daily shower or bath, to find no vague resemblance to the hair we had a few minutes before!

Our solution was to create a unique shower cap that does what it says. SAVES THE BLOW DRY! Its secret is the combination of a gorgeous, waterproof design with an internal layer of super-absorbent micro weave towelling, which zaps humidity and condensation, bathroom-proofing hair to leave it dry and bouncy. The shower cap retails for £14.95 plus £1 for P&P and you can buy it by clicking
here.

The sales of the shower cap are in association with Khandel Light. Every cap that is sold directly funds a fortnights worth of safe drinking water in the desert region of Khandel.

My first impressions of this shower cap was that I absolutely loved it! I adore the retro design and the choice of colours. It reminds me of old vintage glamour style a little like Benefit make-up or the past design of the Soap and Glory packaging.
The cap also has a dual use. If you turn it inside out and apply your hair treatment, then pop the cap on, it helps to make it work more effectively.

Packaging:
The shower cap is housed inside a plastic re-sealable pouch with a colourful retro cardboard insert inside. If I saw this is shops I would definitely pick it up as I love the style.
The cap has a super absorbent outer micro weave and a protective outer layer which is Phalate free.
The cap has a gorgeous bow design adorned on it too.
I photographed it before I removed it and it's a snug fit so I don't think I would get it back in perfectly again.

Performance:
The cap is super stretchy because of the elastic and fit my long hair under with no problems at all. I didn't even need to use clips.
I couldn't resist taking a photograph with it on and it made me really giggle! It reminds me of something Samantha from Bewitched would wear and I love that show.
The cap is really comfortable to wear. It did remind me of wearing a winter hat, like the cute ones I wear, and I felt super snug and warm. I love hot showers.
The cap didn't ride down at all it stayed positioned throughout the duration of my shower. I just had to pull it up a little so I could wash my whole face as it covered a bit of my forehead but this was easily solved.
As I stepped out of the shower and dried, I removed the  cap and my first words were "It's still dried to perfection!"

A gorgeous and well thought out product which I absolutely love!

Laura xoxo
